We want you to be happy with your purchase from The Little Kind.
Because we sell baby feeding products, teethers, and baby essentials, certain items can only be returned if they are unused, unopened, and in their original packaging, unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied.
South African online shoppers generally have a cooling-off period for electronic transactions, while defective goods may be returned under the Consumer Protection Act within six months if they fail to meet required standards.
Change-of-mind returns
If you change your mind about a product, you may contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
To be eligible for a change-of-mind return, the item must be:
- Unused
- Unopened
- In its original packaging
- In a resellable condition
- Returned with proof of purchase
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns on used, opened, or washed baby feeding products, teethers, or personal baby items.
Return courier costs for change-of-mind returns are the customer’s responsibility.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.
If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photos of the item and packaging
If the item is confirmed to be damaged, defective, or incorrectly supplied, we will arrange a suitable remedy, which may include a replacement, refund, or store credit, depending on the situation and stock availability.
This does not limit your rights under South African consumer protection law.
Non-returnable items
The following items cannot be returned for change-of-mind reasons:
- Used baby feeding products
- Opened or used teethers
- Washed items
- Items not in their original packaging
- Gift cards
- Sale or clearance items, unless defective

We will review your request and provide return instructions if the return is approved.
Please do not send any items back without first contacting us.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the outcome.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please allow 7–10 working days for the refund to reflect, depending on your bank or payment provider.
